MPSystem’s Automatic Parking System – “The Future of Parking Now…TM”
Demonstration of MP System’s advanced automatic parking system. What is one of the most significant challenges facing developers, designers, and planners in today’s metropolitan areas? How to provide adequate parking in increasingly challenging and shrinking spaces. MP System’s™ automated parking system is the answer. www.mp-parking.com MP System™ maximizes usable space for parking vehicles in commercial, residential and general use environments by taking the driver out of the process of parking a vehicle. MP System’s™ automated parking system technology accommodates more vehicles in less space by eliminating the need for conventional garage driveways, ramps, passenger elevators, stairways and other infrastructure, freeing this space to park more cars. www.mp-parking.com Korea Office 6F Woosuk Bldg. 1007-39 Sadang-1Dong Dongjak-Gu, Seoul 156-091 Korea Tel: +82.2.3486.8902 Tel: +1.571.239.3780 (USA) Tel: +971.50.959.3977 (Dubai) Fax: +82.2.516.7140 Email: mps@mp-parking.com Website: www.mp-parking.com

Just imagine the long lines on this thing, especially if the robot car carrier works slower than in this video. Also, what happens if the power goes out or if an evacuation is needed? New technology, yes, but infinitely more vulnerable than contemporary technology.

Is it still a concept ??
It seems easy to set up and doesn’t require lots of financial investment.
but I think the main downside is it takes too much time, and not suitable when there is a long queue during rush hours…

There will be security issue involved. like what if someone hide in a car and manage to get inside.? You can put cameras but not everywhere.
It also consumes quite much time for one customer.
This system requires extremely high accuracy which make it expensive and would be very hard for the parties or the companies owning the car park to get their money back. I myself wouldnt be very happy if I had to pay sth like 20€ just to get my car parked.

but is there a emergency power backup for that or the cars will all be stuck for a billions years when a monkey trips the circuit breaker?

@seankim716 Yeah, i’d say it uses less power than a conventional garage.

@seankim716 But Still, All Of That Crap Just To Park A Car In The Parking Lot

It does not take a lot of electricity. It actually saves energy because the garage does not need full lighting system and ventilation due to no human access inside of garage.

But there is a big flaw.. If one car is modified, suspension dropped/undercar neon, you can’t park it.

@seankim716 `Where in europe can I find this car park?

@GoodEvenings Haha I was just thinking of that… That would suck if you had no one to get you out lololol

seems like a lot of electricity is used to make the whole system work!
Good idea though!

Living-fingerprints better-than cards that may get-lost; serve-too as means to track-people, more-critical than-ever these-days.
Being-able to park at-home, at-the-office… please leverage new-build integrate this or like Japanese [Thunderbirds] system.

I could see someone making a youtube video of just staying in the car when its being moved into storage haha

Yes, we have installed our system in Asia, Europe and Central America.

Great System. Do you have this working anywhere in the world at the moment.

@DaddyDoctor123 umm you can do that in a regular parking garage too, you know. and whats better: a bunch of cars exploding in this thing or a bunch of cars exploding in a regular parking garage w/ ppl still in there walking around?

This is freaking awesome! How many years before it becomes practical in the US?

1. Our oldest garage has been operating over 10 years and the centering device has never damaged any wheels.
2. recognize different wheels spec is our know how and that make this system state of the art robot.

Average retrieval time is 90 sec. whereas conventional average retrieval time is 3 ~ 4 min.
Also it can install multiple entrance and exit area so multiple cars can be parked at the same time.

By using automated parking system you can minimize the check point area. You can setup the security check point at the lift entrance area whereas conventional parking there are people driving entire parking area, which makes the security that much difficult but automated parking does not allow human access into the garage and vehicle drop off and pick up area is designated to the one level where lift entrance and exit is located. Compare to conventional parking it can reduce the odd.
